Zinte tablet i.e. Levocetirizine tablet 5mg is a second-generation antihistamine medicine. It is used for various forms of allergies. It can provide relief for runny nose, sneezing, itching, and hives conditions. Levocetirizine tablet blocks the action of histamines. Histamines are those substances that cause allergic reactions in your body. Levocetirizine tablets (Zinte) are taken orally once a day. The ideal time to take this medicine is in the evening or at the time of going to bed. It is well tolerated by most people but some possible side effects may appear such as drowsiness, headache, and dry mouth.
Zinte Levocetirizine tablets contain Levocetirizine Hydrochloride which is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms such as a runny nose or hives. It is available in alu alu packing for the Indian market at MRP: 40 per strip.

What is Levocetirizine?
Levocetirizine is a next-generation antihistamine that is used used to treat allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria (hives). Levocetirizine is also used to treat symptoms of year-round (perennial) allergies in children at least the infant stage.
LEVOCETIRIZINE TABLETS IP 5MG
Levocetirizine Tablets IP 5mg is an antihistamine used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. These tablets may contain a minimum of 4.5mg & a maximum of 5.5 mg of Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride. This tablet complies with the IP monograph parameters.

ZINTE tablet Levocetirizine tablets are used for allergic rhinitis. This includes allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.
Indication for Levocetirizine tablets
Levocetirizine tablets are indicated for the following symptoms;
- Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
- Uncomplicated skin menifastations
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Itching
PHARMACOLOGY OF LEVOCETIRIZINE :
Levocetirizine is an antihistamine. It acts as an inverse agonist that decreases activity at histamine H1 receptors. This prevents the release of other allergy chemicals, increases the blood supply to that area, and provides relief from the typical symptoms of hay fever.
INTERACTIONS OF ZINTE TABLET:
Drug interactions may change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects.
Before consuming the Zinte tablet (Levocetirizine Hydrochloride) Doctor should be consulted if such products that cause drowsiness such as opioid pain or cough relievers (such as codeine, hydrocodone), alcohol, marijuana (cannabis), drugs for sleep or anxiety (such as alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem), muscle relaxants (such as carisoprodol, cyclobenzaprine), or other antihistamines (such as diphenhydramine, promethazine). After taking this medication driving a vehicle or operating machinery should be avoided.
RARE SIDE EFFECTS OF ZINTE TABLET:
On very rare occasions Drowsiness, tiredness, and dry mouth may occur. Fever or cough may also occur, usually in children.
However, some people may still experience some slight sleepiness, headache, mouth dryness, lightheadedness, vision problems (mainly blurred vision), Palpitations, and fatigue.

Administration Guidelines:
