Tinto-MH cream is a medicated acne and scar cream that contains Mometasone, Hydroquinone, and Tretinoin. It is a topical cream for acne. It is found very effective against black circles around the eyes, scars on the face, acne, redness, itching, and spots. How to use Tinto-MH cream:
Take a pie-sized portion of Tinto-MH cream on your fingertip and apply slowly on the affected places on the face, if black circles around the eyes are persisted then apply the cream on the black circles ensuring that it should not enter the eyes. Do not use it in the daytime.
Tinto-MH Vs Skinlite cream
Tinto-MH cream and Skinlite cream both are the same combinations of creams. Both products are manufactured in high-quality GMP conditions. The quality of the product is neck to neck the same. Studies and Clinical Trials
- In 2005, a study was carried out by Kircik LH. about Efficacy and Safety of a Triple combination cream in the management of melasma. This study discovered the effectiveness and safety of the cream containing a triple combination of molecules, Mometasone, Tretinoin, and Hydroquinone in the treatment of facial melasma. The results from this study showed significant improvement in the skin pigmentation and overall appearance of the face look with minimum side effects.
- Another Study was carried out by Sanchez-Viera M, Imbernon Moya A, and Sanchez-Palencia Ramos in 2010 Jul-Aug, The study involved a double-blind, placebo-controlled study that assessed the efficacy and safety of three-drug combination cream (Mometasone, Tretinoin, and Hydroquinone) in the treatment of Melasma. The results provided significant improvement in the pigmentation on the face and overall face glow was improved, the good thing was not any serious adverse effects were seen.
- Another study was carried out by Pandya AG, Hynan LS, and Bhore R namely”Reliability assessment and validation of the Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI) and a new modified MASI scoring method” in 2011. This study was about to assess the reliability and validity of the Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI), and the modified MASI scoring method in finding the impact of melasma in patients who were treated with a triple combination of mometasone, hydroquinone, and tretinoin. The Results demonstrated that both scoring methods were credible and valid in evaluating the treatment results.
- The study carried out in 1975 was known as the “Kligman formula” by Kligman AM, Willis I. A for depigmentation of human skin. Published in Arch Dermatol September 1975. This was a classic study that described the development of a unique cream containing hydroquinone, tretinoin, and a topical steroid for the treatment of hyperpigmentation disorders and melasma. The cream which is known as Kligman Formula is used extensively in various clinical trials and research studies.
Precautions to take before using Tinto-MH cream:
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not apply the cream during the day and avoid exposing it to sunlight. Exposure to sunlight and U.V. light may cause repigmentation of bleached areas.
Possible side effects of Tinto-MH cream
- Burning and itching at the place of application
- Repigmentation after stopping the use.
