The pack contains a 10 ml sterile water jar to prepare injection prior to administration.

FONCEF-1GM CEFTRIAXONE INJECTION USES
Foncef-1gm Injection is a cephalosporin-category antibiotic that can be used for the treatment of many bacterial infections. This is very effective in middle ear infections, endocarditis, meningitis, and pneumonia. This medication is also used against bone and joint infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin infections, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, and pelvic inflammatory disease
Ceftriaxone is highly recommended for Typhoid fever and non-viral diseases. In post-surgery infection, it is used widely. In internal infections, this medication is recommended widely.
Ceftriaxone Injection Side Effects:
However, in general conditions, Ceftriaxone is a well-tolerated drug in the segment. Some most common side effects of ceftriaxone are changes in white blood cell counts and local reactions at the site of administration where the injectable is given, rash on the skin, and in some patients, it may occur diarrhea. The excessive use of this drug may cause swelling, redness, pain, or soreness at the injection site may occur. This medication may also infrequently cause loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or headache.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE THE USE OF CEFTRIAXONE:
The patients should not use Foncef-1gm Ceftriaxone Injection without Doctor’s suggestion if he has an allergy to penicillin, or if patients have kidney disease (on dialysis patients). The use of this drug without an expert’s advice is avoidable. This drug is known as a strong antibiotic therefore unnecessary use can harm reversible to patients.
