Nimesulide and Paracetamol are pain relievers in nature, however, their mechanism of action is totally different from each other. Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), that reduces the pain in the body. Paracetamol is a top-class analgesic that blocks the pain signals before reaching the brain.

Nimesulide is available over-the-counter in India, however, it is a prescription drug covered in the Schedule-H drugs category. Paracetamol is available over the counter in India and most countries.

Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. The exact mechanism of action of paracetamol is not known.  Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. This combination is much safer than the Ibuprofen AND Paracetamol combination used for the same symptoms, Used in Migraine pain in early and medium pain. Widely used for severe fever conditions when alone Paracetamol does not work.

Nimesulide

Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is a C-nitro compound a sulfonamide and one aromatic ether. It is related to the nitrobenzene group

It is recommended only for 15 days in the treatment. The maximum dose for a day is 200 mg.

SIDE EFFECTS OF NIMESULIDE AND PARACETAMOL

Nimesulide and Paracetamol tablets are beneficial in many diseases but they have some side effects if they are taken without a prescription and in overdose. The use of Nimesulide is prohibited in children below 12 years of age. Nimesulide may lead to some serious implications for children.
