Introduction: 

This medication is used to treat people who have moderate to severe restless legs syndrome. It’s also used to relieve shingles-related nerve pain (a painful rash due to herpes zoster infection). The medical word for this condition is postherpetic neuralgia. 
 It is the first drug that was approved by the FDA in extended-released tablet form for the treatment of modern-to-severe Restless Legs Syndrome. 
 
Gabapentin enacarbil is converted to gabapentin by your body. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant drug that belongs to the anti-seizure drug category.

What is the drug horizant used for
