Injectable drug delivery system

An injectable drug delivery system is a process to deliver medicine or drug to the body by infusion or injection method. Common formulations for Injectable delivery systems are Intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections.

Transdermal Drug delivery system

It is the way of drug delivery by patches and creams through the skin. Popular formulations in this category are Patches and creams.

Inhalation drug delivery system

Implantable drug delivery systems

It is a process of drug delivery system that releases the drug in the body through a device that can deliver the drug in precise quantity in decided time intervals. These devices are implanted in the body for drug delivery systems.

  • Drug-eluting Stents: These are common drug-coated objects used to clear the blockage in the arteries by a special nonsurgical operation. It is used in heart disease patients. 
  • Infusion pumps: These are special devices used as a pump to deliver drugs to patients for the pre-decided periods.
